More decorations
Gosh it’s been a busy few weeks getting my Etsy shop up and running but sales have finally begun and i’m making more ornaments in different styles. So far i’ve been using fanric from V&A, Fabric Rehab and various eBay sellers. I particularly love the retro space fabric.
Check out my mini heart, star and tree!

Getting ready for Christmas!!!
ok ok I know it’s only August but i’m thinking ahead and getting into the Christmas spirit.
I’ve started making a selection of unique hand sewn decorations for all of your beautiful trees which I am selling via my shop LOVE TABITHA on both Etsy and Folksy. So far i’ve made hearts, bells and baubles and have attempted a tree which I need to work on… hoping to get some stars made too.

I’ve finished!!!! whoop whoop
I have finally managed to finish Emily Alice’s quilt. I’m annoyed with myself for taking so long but I also have a wedding to plan (only 4 weeks to go… eeek). And Emily’s still a baby so it won’t really be much use to her for at least another year!
What do you think? Is it Alice in Wonderlandy enough? Perhaps I should have added some bunny ears…
Hmmm. Right, no rest for the wicked. I am now off to start another quilt that I will be selling on Etsy in the summer. And if you’re interested in a special commission you know where to find me xxx

Machine quilting here I come
Finally I’ve gotten to the final stage and I’m machine quilting the blanket for Emily.
Most people find this part the exciting bit but I personally find it terrifying….
Wish me luck x

First stage complete!
I’ve finally finished the front of the quilt. I still have a loooooong way to go but for me I find the front the most time consuming and the most challenging.
Now it’s time to get the back ready and then put the front, wadding and back together and start machine quilting on top. I’m slightly apprehensive about this part because Fran’s quilt wasn’t as neat as I would’ve liked it to be. But hey ho i’m still learning and practice makes perfect – so they say.
Oooo and look at these pretty little pug puppies! They are for sale….. How could you possibly resist????
